धूमाक्षी सं पततु कृधुकर्णी च क्रोशतु । त्रिषंधेः सेनया जिते अरुणाः सन्तु केतवः

IAST Transliteration

dhūmākṣī́ sáṃ patatu kṛdhukárṇī ca krośatu | triṣaṃ́dheḥ sénayā jitè aruṇā́ḥ santu ketávaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the smoke-eyed swoop down full; and let Kṛdhukarṇī shriek aloud. With the host of Triṣaṃdhi, when conquest is won, let the signals be ruddy—tokens of victory.

Translation

ధూమాక్షీ పూర్తిగా దూకి పడుగాక; కృధుకర్ణీ గట్టిగా కేక వేయుగాక. త్రిషంధి సేనతో కలిసి, జయం సిద్ధించినప్పుడు, కేతవః—సంకేతాలు—అరుణవర్ణంగా, విజయచిహ్నాలుగా ఉండుగాక.
