It identifies Agni as the originating principle behind vidyā (sacred disciplines) and mantra-gaṇas (mantra corpora), framing ritual knowledge as ultimately grounded in the Agni principle.
By linking cosmology (origin of beings), mantra-śāstra (mantra collections), and soteriology (liberation) in a single doctrinal statement, it exemplifies how the Agni Purana integrates multiple knowledge-domains into one theological framework.
It presents Agni not merely as ritual fire but as Paramātmā and the cause/giver of liberation, encouraging devotion and contemplative understanding of Agni as a direct support for mokṣa-oriented practice.
