The Description of the Sarvatobhadra Maṇḍala (सर्वतोभद्रमण्डलकथनम्)

पद्मार्धं नवभिः प्रोक्तं नाभिस्तु तिसृभिः स्मृता अष्टाभिर्द्वारकान् कुर्यान्नेमिन्तु चतुरङ्गुलैः तथापरेण लक्षेण मन्त्रः क्षेत्रीकृतो भवेत् पूर्वमेवासमो होमो वीजानां सम्प्रकीर्तितः

padmārdhaṃ navabhiḥ proktaṃ nābhistu tisṛbhiḥ smṛtā aṣṭābhirdvārakān kuryānnemintu caturaṅgulaiḥ tathāpareṇa lakṣeṇa mantraḥ kṣetrīkṛto bhavet pūrvamevāsamo homo vījānāṃ samprakīrtitaḥ

పద్మం యొక్క అర్ధభాగం తొమ్మిది అంగుళాల ప్రమాణమని చెప్పబడింది; నాభి (మధ్యభాగం) మూడు అంగుళాలుగా స్మరించబడింది. ఎనిమిది (అంగుళాల) ప్రమాణంతో ద్వారకాలను (తెరుచులు/దళాలు) చేయాలి; నేమి (అంచు) నాలుగు అంగుళాలుగా ఉండాలి. తరువాత మరొక లక్షణం (నిర్దిష్ట సూచకం) ద్వారా మంత్రం ‘క్షేత్రీకృత’—అభిషిక్త క్షేత్రంగా స్థాపితమవుతుంది. బీజాక్షరాల కోసం అసమ హోమం ముందే ఉపదేశించబడింది.
