Application: Use manvantara and lineage markers to contextualize vows, festival mythic readings, and systematic study/recitation schedules (pārāyaṇa).

It imparts Puranic cosmological-chronological knowledge: how specific classes of devas (Tuṣitas) recur across Manvantara cycles and are genealogically traced to Aditi and Kaśyapa.
It shifts from sarga (creation narrative) to structured vamśa (genealogy) and manvantara chronology—cataloguing beings, lineages, and cosmic time-periods as a reference framework used across Purāṇic subjects.
By situating devas and sages within recurring cosmic cycles, it reinforces a dharmic worldview of ordered creation and time—encouraging faith in cosmic law (ṛta/dharma) and the meaningful continuity of sacred history.
