तं दृष्ट्वा सहसा देवी ब्रह्मपुत्रं तपोधनम् । विद्युत्प्रभामुवाचेदमासनं दीयतामिति । पाद्यमाचमनीयं च क्षिप्रमस्मै प्रदीयताम् ॥

அவரை உடனே கண்ட தேவியார், பிரம்மனின் புதல்வனாகிய தவவளமுடையவரை நோக்கி வித்யுத்‌ப்ரபாவிடம் கூறினாள்— “இவருக்கு ஆசனம் அளி; மேலும் விரைவாக பாத்யமும் ஆச்சமனீய நீரும் வழங்கு।”
