शिवलोकं ब्रह्मलोकं विष्णुलोकं न सशंयः ॥ एवमुक्त्वा तदात्रेयः पितृकर्म यथाविधि ॥

śivalokaṃ brahmalokaṃ viṣṇulokaṃ na saśaṃyaḥ || evam uktvā tad ātreyaḥ pitṛkarma yathāvidhi ||

அவன் சிவலோகம், பிரம்மலோகம் அல்லது விஷ்ணுலோகம் அடைவான்—இதில் ஐயமில்லை. இவ்வாறு கூறி அந்த ஆத்திரேயர் விதிப்படி பித்ருகர்மத்தைச் செய்தார்.
