पिण्डं सञ्चूरणं दद्यात्रिंश्च दद्याज्जलाञ्जलीन् ॥ चतुर्थे पञ्चमे षष्ठे पिण्डमेकं जलाञ्जलिम् ॥
piṇḍaṁ sañcūraṇaṁ dadyāt trīṁś ca dadyāj jalāñjalīn || caturthe pañcame ṣaṣṭhe piṇḍam ekaṁ jalāñjalim ||
பிண்டமும் சஞ்சூரணமும் அளிக்க வேண்டும்; மேலும் நீரின் மூன்று அஞ்சலிகளையும் அர்ப்பணிக்க வேண்டும். நான்காம், ஐந்தாம், ஆறாம் நாட்களில் ஒரு பிண்டமும் ஒரு ஜலாஞ்சலியும் அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
