FAQs

It reflects a Purāṇic synthesis of Vedānta terminology with Vaiṣṇava theological identification (the supreme ‘puruṣa’ characterized as Nārāyaṇa), a common strategy in later Sanskrit religious literature to harmonize philosophical and devotional vocabularies.

No specific geographic site is named in this verse; the focus is doctrinal (identifying the Vedānta-puruṣa with Nārāyaṇa) and narrative (the deities returning to their abodes).

Rather than an explicit moral injunction, the verse emphasizes a philosophical conclusion: the ultimate principle discussed is framed as Nārāyaṇa in essence, followed by a formal closure of the discourse.
