Prescriptions for Expiation of Offences: Red/Black Garments, Improper Touch in Darkness, Impure Leftovers, Eating Boar-Meat, and Consuming Jālapāda

क्षान्तं दान्तं तथा कृत्वा अहङ्कारविवर्जितः ॥ दिनान्येकोनपञ्चाशच्चरेत्कृतविनिश्चयः ॥

kṣāntaṃ dāntaṃ tathā kṛtvā ahaṅkāravivarjitaḥ || dināny ekonapañcāśac caret kṛtaviniścayaḥ

தன்னை பொறுமையுடனும் தமனத்துடனும் அமைத்து, அகங்காரம் இன்றி, உறுதியான தீர்மானத்துடன் நாற்பத்தொன்பது நாட்கள் இந்நியமத்தைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்.
