यत्तु पृच्छसि सुश्रोणि मासे वैशाख उत्तमे ॥ शुक्लपक्षे तु द्वादश्यां यत्फलं तच्छृणुष्व मे ॥

அழகிய இடுப்புடையவளே! நீ கேட்பது என்னவெனில்—சிறந்த வைசாக மாதத்தில், சுக்லபக்ஷத்தின் த்வாதசியன்று கிடைக்கும் பலனை என்னிடமிருந்து கேள்.
