पद्मासनस्थ एवासौ भूमिमुत्सृज्य वर्तते । अतिमानुषचेष्टादि तथा सामर्थ्यमुद्भवेत् ॥५५॥

पद्मासन-स्थः । एव । असौ । भूमिम् । उत्सृज्य । वर्तते । अति-मानुष-चेष्टा-आदि । तथा । सामर्थ्यम् । उद्भवेत् ॥५५॥

IAST Transliteration

padmāsanastha evāsau bhūmim utsṛjya vartate | atimānuṣaceṣṭādi tathā sāmarthyam udbhavet ||55||

Translation

பத்மாசனத்தில் அமர்ந்த யோகி, பூமித் தத்துவத்தைத் தாண்டியவனெனச் சஞ்சரிக்கிறான்; அப்போது அதிமானுஷச் செயல்கள் முதலிய அதிசய வல்லமைகள் அவனில் தோன்றுகின்றன।

Academic Translation

Seated in padmāsana, he moves about having left (i.e., risen above) the earth; and extraordinary capacities—such as superhuman actions—then arise.
