Amritnada

अघोषमव्यञ्जनमस्वरं च अकण्ठताल्वोष्ठमनासिकं च । अरेफजातमुभयोष्मवर्जितं यदक्षरं न क्षरते कदाचित् ॥२५॥

अ-घोषम् । अ-व्यञ्जनम् । अ-स्वरम् । च । अ-कण्ठ-तालु-ओष्ठम् । अ-नासिकम् । च । अ-रेफ-जातम् । उभय-उष्म-वर्जितम् । यत् । अक्षरम् । न । क्षरते । कदाचित् ॥

aghoṣam avyañjanam asvaraṃ ca akaṇṭhatālv-oṣṭham anāsikaṃ ca | arephajātaṃ ubhayoṣmavarjitaṃ yad akṣaraṃ na kṣarate kadācit ||25||

எந்த அక్షரம் ஒலியற்றது, மெய்யெழுத்தும் உயிரெழுத்தும் அற்றது; தொண்டை, அண்ணம், உதடு, மூக்கு ஆகிய உச்சரிப்புகளற்றது; ‘ர’ (ரேபம்) மூலம் பிறக்காதது, இரு ஊஷ்மங்கள் (ஶ, ஷ, ஸ, ஹ) இன்றியது—அந்த அక్షரம் எப்போதும் அழிவதில்லை.

Soundless, without consonant, and without vowel; without throat, palate, or lips, and without nasal (articulation); not produced with ‘ra’ (repha), devoid of both sibilants/aspirates— that syllable which never perishes.
