सरयूसलिले स्नात्वा सुचिंताकुलमानसः । देवं धर्महरिं पश्येत्सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
sarayūsalile snātvā suciṃtākulamānasaḥ | devaṃ dharmahariṃ paśyetsarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate

Scene: Pilgrims at dawn bathe in the Sarayū, hands joined in prayer; after snān they walk with wet garments and serene faces toward a shrine of Dharma-Hari for darśana; the river glows with morning light.
