Transliteration

vedavedāṅgatattvajñaḥ svakarmapariniṣṭhitaḥ | purā samāgato dharmastīrthayātrācikīrṣayā

Translation

வேதமும் வேதாங்கங்களும் கூறும் தத்துவங்களை அறிந்தும், தன் ஸ்வதர்மத்தில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்தும் இருந்த தர்மன், முற்காலத்தில் தீர்த்தயாத்திரை செய்ய விரும்பி வந்தான்.
