फणसाहस्रमणिभिर्दग्धाः शेषस्य सुव्रत । तस्मादेतन्महातीर्थं सरयूतीरगं शुभम् । ख्यातं सहस्रधारेति भविष्यति न संशयः
phaṇasāhasramaṇibhirdagdhāḥ śeṣasya suvrata | tasmādetanmahātīrthaṃ sarayūtīragaṃ śubham | khyātaṃ sahasradhāreti bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ
நல்ல விரதமுடையவனே! இங்கே சேஷனின் ஆயிரம் பாம்புத் தலை மணிகள் எரிந்தன; ஆகவே சரயூ கரையிலுள்ள இந்தப் புனித மகாதீர்த்தம் ஐயமின்றி ‘சஹஸ்ரதாரா’ எனப் புகழ்பெறும்.
