व्यास उवाच । सहस्रधारामाहात्म्यं विस्तराद्वद सुव्रत । शृण्वंस्तीर्थस्य माहात्म्यं न तृप्यति मनो मम
vyāsa uvāca | sahasradhārāmāhātmyaṃ vistarādvada suvrata | śṛṇvaṃstīrthasya māhātmyaṃ na tṛpyati mano mama
வியாசர் கூறினார்—நல்ல விரதம் உடையவரே, ஸஹஸ்ரதாரையின் மஹாத்மியத்தை விரிவாகச் சொல்லுங்கள். இந்த தீர்த்தத்தின் பெருமையை கேட்கக் கேட்க என் மனம் நிறைவடைவதில்லை।
