तत्र स्नानेन किं पुण्यं दानेन च महामते । तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामस्त्वत्तः सूत गुणाधिक
tatra snānena kiṃ puṇyaṃ dānena ca mahāmate | tatsarvaṃ śrotumicchāmastvattaḥ sūta guṇādhika
ஓ மகாமதியே, அங்கே நீராடுவதாலும் தானம் செய்வதாலும் எத்தகைய புண்ணியம் உண்டாகும்? ஓ குணநிறைந்த சூதரே, அவையனைத்தையும் உம்மிடமிருந்து கேட்க விரும்புகிறோம்।
