वेत्ता यो वेदविदुषां प्रभुर्यः प्रभवात्मनाम् । सोमभूतस्तु भूतानामग्निभूतोऽग्निवर्त्मनाम्

Transliteration

vettā yo vedaviduṣāṃ prabhuryaḥ prabhavātmanām | somabhūtastu bhūtānāmagnibhūto'gnivartmanām

Translation

வேதம் அறிந்தோரிலும் அறிந்தவன், பிரபவ-ஸ்வரூபங்களின் ஆண்டவன் அவர். உயிர்களுக்குச் சோமமாக அவர் ஆகிறார்; அக்னி-வழி ஒழுக்கம் கடைப்பிடிப்போர்க்கு அக்னியாக அவர் விளங்குகிறார்.
