दुर्गे दुर्गार्तिहे देवि सर्व दुर्गतिनाशिनि । त्राहि मां सर्वदुर्गेषु दुर्गेऽहं शरणं गतः
durge durgārtihe devi sarva durgatināśini | trāhi māṃ sarvadurgeṣu durge'haṃ śaraṇaṃ gataḥ
ஓ துர்கே! துன்பத் துயரை நீக்கும் தேவியே, எல்லா துர்கதிகளையும் அழிப்பவளே! எல்லா ஆபத்துகளிலும் என்னைக் காப்பாற்று; ஓ துர்கே, நான் உன் சரணடைந்தேன்.
