ईश्वर उवाच । एवमस्त्वित्यहं प्रोच्य पुनर्लिंगे लयं गतः । एतत्ते कारणं देवि प्रोक्तं सर्वमशेषतः
īśvara uvāca | evamastvityahaṃ procya punarliṃge layaṃ gataḥ | etatte kāraṇaṃ devi proktaṃ sarvamaśeṣataḥ
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்— ‘எவமஸ்து’ என்று சொல்லி நான் மீண்டும் லிங்கத்தில் லயமடைந்தேன். தேவி, இந்தக் காரணம் முழுவதும் உனக்கு எஞ்சாமல் முற்றிலும் உரைக்கப்பட்டது।
