ततः सप्तदशे कल्पे पितृकल्पे तु विश्रुता । दक्षस्य दुहिता जाता सतीनाम्नी महाप्रभा
tataḥ saptadaśe kalpe pitṛkalpe tu viśrutā | dakṣasya duhitā jātā satīnāmnī mahāprabhā
அதன்பின் பதினேழாம் கல்பத்தில்—‘பித்ருகல்பம்’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்றதில்—நீ தக்ஷனின் மகளாகப் பிறந்தாய்; மகாப்ரபை ‘சதி’ என்ற நாமத்தால் விளங்கினாய்.
