यस्मात्कालीत्यहं प्रोक्ता त्वया शंभोऽतिविप्लवात् । तस्माद्यास्यामि गौरीति भविष्यामि च यत्र हि
yasmātkālītyahaṃ proktā tvayā śaṃbho'tiviplavāt | tasmādyāsyāmi gaurīti bhaviṣyāmi ca yatra hi
சம்புவே! மிகுந்த அநுசிதமான தருணத்தில் நீ என்னை ‘காளி’ என்று அழைத்தாய்; ஆகவே நான் புறப்பட்டு ‘கௌரி’ என்ற பெயரால் புகழ்பெறுவேன்—நான் எந்த இடத்தில் நிலைப்பேனோ, அங்கேயே।
