Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsakṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as varānanā)
Scene: An ascetic goddess arrives at the luminous coastal kṣetra of Prabhāsa, leaving behind a lover’s quarrel; she stands firm in austerity amid sea-breeze, dunes, and distant temple silhouettes.
Even intense emotion, when purified through tapas, becomes a sacred force that consecrates a place and deepens spiritual resolve.
Prabhāsakṣetra, particularly the Tapovana associated with the Goddess’s austerities.
No explicit ritual; the verse highlights tapas (austerity) and steadfast residence at the sacred field as the sanctifying act.
