इति श्रीस्कांदे महापुराण एकाशीति साहस्र्यां संहितायां सप्तमे प्रभासखण्डे प्रथमे प्रभासक्षेत्रमाहात्म्ये लक्ष्मीश्वरमाहात्म्यवर्णनंनाम चतुःषष्टितमोऽध्यायः
iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśīti sāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṇḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye lakṣmīśvaramāhātmyavarṇanaṃnāma catuḥṣaṣṭitamo'dhyāyaḥ
இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்காந்த மகாபுராணத்தின் எண்பத்தொன்றாயிரச் சங்கிதையில், ஏழாம் பிரபாசகண்டத்தில், முதல் பிரபாசக்ஷேத்ரமாஹாத்ம்யத்தில் ‘லக்ஷ்மீஸ்வர மாஹாத்ம்ய வர்ணனம்’ எனப்படும் அறுபத்துநான்காம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவுற்றது।
