यत्र देव्या समानीता लक्ष्मीर्देत्यान्निहत्य च । तेन लक्ष्मीश्वरं नाम स्वयं देव्या प्रतिष्ठितम्
yatra devyā samānītā lakṣmīrdetyānnihatya ca | tena lakṣmīśvaraṃ nāma svayaṃ devyā pratiṣṭhitam
தேவி தானவர்களை வதைத்து லக்ஷ்மியை (மீண்டும்) அழைத்து வந்த இடம் அதுவே; ஆகையால் அது ‘லக்ஷ்மீஸ்வர’ என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது, மேலும் தேவியே தாமே அதை பிரதிஷ்டை செய்தாள்।
