संतर्प्य च पितॄन्देवान्पीत्वा स्वच्छमथोदकम् । ततोऽहं भार्यया प्रोक्तो गृहाणेमान्सरोरुहान्
saṃtarpya ca pitṝndevānpītvā svacchamathodakam | tato'haṃ bhāryayā prokto gṛhāṇemānsaroruhān
பித்ருக்களையும் தேவர்களையும் திருப்திப்படுத்தி, பின்னர் தெளிந்த நீரை அருந்தியபின், என் மனைவி என்னிடம்— “இந்த சரோருஹங்கள் (தாமரைகள்) எடுத்துக்கொள்” என்றாள்.
