Transliteration

saurāṣṭraviṣaye śubhre dhanadhānyasamākule | atha kālāṃtare tatra anāvṛṣṭirabhūddvijāḥ

Translation

செல்வமும் தானியமும் நிறைந்த தூய சௌராஷ்டிர நாட்டில், சில காலத்திற்குப் பின், ஓ இருபிறப்பினரே, அங்கே மழையின்மை (அனாவிருஷ்டி) ஏற்பட்டது.
