putradāragṛhakṣetra dhanadhānyasamudbhavam | janayetsa mahāmohaṃ tataḥ paśyati no haram
Narrative voice (speaker not explicit in this verse)
Tirtha: Prabhāsakṣetra (Somnātha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed later as Deveśī/Mahādevī) and/or assembled sages (frame)
Scene: A pilgrim stands at the threshold of Somnātha; behind him loom symbolic forms of child, spouse, house, fields, granary and coins as shadowy chains; ahead, Hara’s liṅga radiates, partially veiled by a mist labeled ‘moha’.
Worldly attachments can eclipse the vision of Śiva; detachment and devotion enable true darśana.
Prabhāsakṣetra—particularly Somanātha, where Hara is worshipped.
No explicit ritual is stated; the verse gives a dharmic diagnosis of why pilgrimage and darśana fail.
