एवं मंक्याश्रमे येषां वसतां मृत्युरागतः । न ते मनुष्या देवास्ते सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते
evaṃ maṃkyāśrame yeṣāṃ vasatāṃ mṛtyurāgataḥ | na te manuṣyā devāste satyametadbravīmi te
இவ்வாறு மங்க்யாஶ்ரமத்தில் வாழ்பவர்களுக்கு மரணம் வந்தபோது, அவர்கள் (வெறும்) மனிதர்கள் அல்ல—தேவர்களே. இந்த உண்மையை நான் உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.
