गुप्तस्तेपे तपो यस्मात्तस्माद्गुप्तेश्वरः स्मृतः । सर्वकुष्ठहरो देवो दर्शनात्स्पर्शनादपि
guptastepe tapo yasmāttasmādgupteśvaraḥ smṛtaḥ | sarvakuṣṭhaharo devo darśanātsparśanādapi
மறைவாகத் தவம் செய்ததால் அவர் ‘குப்தேஸ்வரன்’ என நினைக்கப்படுகிறார். அந்தத் தேவன் தரிசனத்தாலும் தொடுதலாலும் எல்லாக் குஷ்டத்தையும் நீக்குவான்.
