இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்கந்த மகாபுராணத்தின் எண்பத்தொன்றாயிரச் செய்யுள் கொண்ட சம்ஹிதையில், ஏழாம் பிரபாசகண்டத்தில், முதல் பிரபாசக்ஷேத்ரமாஹாத்ம்யத்தில் “சுபர்ணேலா மாஹாத்ம்ய வர்ணனம்” எனப்படும் 352ஆம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவுற்றது.
