अगाधेम्भसि तेनासौ निक्षिप्तो वाडवोऽनलः । वरुणेन पिबन्नास्ते तज्जलं सुमहाबलः
agādhembhasi tenāsau nikṣipto vāḍavo'nalaḥ | varuṇena pibannāste tajjalaṃ sumahābalaḥ
அப்போது அந்த வாடவாக்னி அளவிடமுடியாத ஆழ்ந்த நீரில் இடப்பட்டது; மகாபலமுடைய அது வருணன் வழியாக அந்த நீரைப் பருகிக்கொண்டே அங்கே நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
