ततोऽधस्तात्पुनर्याति सलिलं तत्र भामिनि । तण्डीनाम पुरा प्रोक्तो देविकातटमास्थितः
tato'dhastātpunaryāti salilaṃ tatra bhāmini | taṇḍīnāma purā prokto devikātaṭamāsthitaḥ
பின்னர், ஓ பிரகாசமுடையவளே, அங்குள்ள நீர் மீண்டும் கீழ்நோக்கி இறங்குகிறது. பழங்காலத்தில் ‘தண்டீ’ என்ற ஒருவர் தேவிகையின் கரையில் வசித்தார் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
