nirdahedbhagavānrudrastrailokyaṃ sacarācaram | kiṃ punarmānuṣaṃ hīnamatyaṃtavi ṣayātmakam

பகவான் ருத்ரர் அசையும் அசையாததுடன் கூடிய மூவுலகையும் எரித்து விட வல்லவர்; அப்படியிருக்க, இంద్రியவிஷயங்களில் முற்றும் கட்டுண்ட இந்த அற்ப மனிதன் என்ன ஆகும்?
