इति संक्षेपतः प्रोक्तस्तत्र श्राद्धविधिस्तव । अथ ते कथयिष्यामि इतिहासं पुरातनम्
iti saṃkṣepataḥ proktastatra śrāddhavidhistava | atha te kathayiṣyāmi itihāsaṃ purātanam
இவ்வாறு அங்கேயுள்ள ஸ்ராத்த விதி உனக்குச் சுருக்கமாகச் சொல்லப்பட்டது. இனி உனக்கு ஒரு பழமையான புனித இதிகாசத்தை நான் உரைப்பேன்.
