ततश्चक्रे महायुद्धं तलेनातिभयंकरम् । जघान स तलं दैत्यं मुष्टिघातेन मस्तके
tataścakre mahāyuddhaṃ talenātibhayaṃkaram | jaghāna sa talaṃ daityaṃ muṣṭighātena mastake
பின்னர் தலனுடன் மிகப் பயங்கரமான மகா யுத்தம் எழுந்தது. தேவன் தன் குத்துக் கையால் தலன் எனும் தைத்தியனின் தலையில் அடித்து அவனை வீழ்த்தினான்।
