एवमुक्तो गिरिः प्राह अनिच्छंतीं महाबलात् । उद्वाहयिष्ये त्वां भद्रे कस्त्राता स्ति तवाधुना
evamukto giriḥ prāha anicchaṃtīṃ mahābalāt | udvāhayiṣye tvāṃ bhadre kastrātā sti tavādhunā
இவ்வாறு கூறப்பட்டதும் மலை சொன்னது— அவள் விரும்பாதபோதும் தன் மாபெரும் வலிமையால்: ஓ பத்திரே! நான் உன்னை மணம் செய்வேன்; இப்போது உனக்கு காவலன் யார்?
