Transliteration

tasyaiva pūrvadigbhāge kuṇḍikā pāpanāśinī | vaḍavānalasaṃyuktā yatrāyātā sarasvatī

Translation

அதே இடத்தின் கிழக்குப் பகுதியில் ‘குண்டிகா’ எனப்படும் பாபநாசினி புண்ணியத் தீர்த்தம் உள்ளது. அது வடவானலத்துடன் தொடர்புடையது; அங்கேயே சரஸ்வதி தேவி வந்தடைந்தாள் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
