इति श्रीस्कांदे महापुराण एकाशीतिसाहस्र्यां संहितायां सप्तमे प्रभासखण्डे प्रथमे प्रभासक्षेत्रमाहात्म्ये क्षेमेश्वरमाहात्म्यवर्णनंनाम त्रयोविंशत्युत्तरत्रिशततमोऽध्यायः
iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṇḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye kṣemeśvaramāhātmyavarṇanaṃnāma trayoviṃśatyuttaratriśatatamo'dhyāyaḥ
இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீஸ்காந்த மகாபுராணத்தின் எண்பத்தொன்றாயிரச் செய்யுள் கொண்ட ஸம்ஹிதையில், ஏழாம் பிரபாசகண்டத்தின் முதல் ‘பிரபாசக்ஷேத்ரமாஹாத்ம்ய’ பகுதியில், ‘க்ஷேமேஸ்வர மாஹாத்ம்ய வர்ணனம்’ எனும் 323ஆம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவுற்றது।
