īśvara uvāca | yūyaṃ pavitrakaraṇāḥ pāvanānāṃ ca pāvanāḥ | gaṃgāṃ caivānayiṣyāmi yuṣmākaṃ cittatuṣṭaye

ஈசுவரன் கூறினான்—நீங்கள் தூய்மையை உண்டாக்குவோர்; தூய்மையாக்குவோரிலும் மிகத் தூய்மையாளர்; உங்கள் உள்ளம் மகிழ நான் கங்கையையே கொண்டு வருவேன்।
