ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | abhiṣekāya no deva nadī pāpapraṇāśinī | vilokyate suraśreṣṭha dehi no varamuttamam

முனிவர்கள் கூறினர்—ஓ தேவா! எங்கள் அபிஷேகத்திற்குப் பாவநாசினியான ஒரு நதி வேண்டும். ஓ தேவர்களில் சிறந்தவனே! எங்களுக்கு இவ்வுத்தம வரத்தை அருள்வாயாக.
