ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि कौबेरात्पूर्वसंस्थितम् । गव्यूतिपंचके देवि पुष्करंनाम नामतः । यत्र सिद्धो महादेवि कैवर्तो मत्स्यघातकः
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi kauberātpūrvasaṃsthitam | gavyūtipaṃcake devi puṣkaraṃnāma nāmataḥ | yatra siddho mahādevi kaivarto matsyaghātakaḥ
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—ஹே மகாதேவி, பின்னர் குபேரஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து கிழக்குத் திசை நோக்கிச் செல்ல வேண்டும். ஹே தேவி, ஐந்து கவ்யூதி தூரத்தில் ‘புஷ்கர’ எனப் பெயர்பெற்ற இடம் உள்ளது; அங்கே ஹே மகாதேவி, மீன்களை கொன்ற ஒரு கைவற்றன் சித்தி பெற்றான்.
