तस्य स्त्रीणां सहस्राणि चत्वार्यासन्परिग्रहाः । एकैव तु सुता शुभ्रा सुकन्यानाम नामतः
tasya strīṇāṃ sahasrāṇi catvāryāsanparigrahāḥ | ekaiva tu sutā śubhrā sukanyānāma nāmataḥ
அவனுக்கு நான்கு ஆயிரம் மனைவியர் இருந்தனர்; ஆனால் அவனுக்கு ஒரே ஒரு ஒளிமிகு மகள் மட்டும் இருந்தாள்; அவள் ‘சுகன்யா’ என்ற பெயரால் புகழ்பெற்றாள்।
