अहिंसासदृशं पुण्यं दानात्संचयनं परम् । तपश्चानशनान्नास्ति तथा तीर्थनिषेवणात्

Transliteration

ahiṃsāsadṛśaṃ puṇyaṃ dānātsaṃcayanaṃ param | tapaścānaśanānnāsti tathā tīrthaniṣevaṇāt

Translation

அஹிம்சையை ஒத்த புண்ணியம் இல்லை; தானத்தை விட உயர்ந்த சேமிப்பு இல்லை. அனசனம் போன்ற தவம் இல்லை; அதுபோல தீர்த்தநிஷேவணத்தை ஒத்தது எதுவும் இல்லை.
