सरस्वती च सावित्री वेदमाता विभावरी । संनिधानं कुरुष्वात्र तीर्थे पाप प्रणाशिनि । सर्वेषामेव तीर्थानां मंत्र एष उदाहृतः
sarasvatī ca sāvitrī vedamātā vibhāvarī | saṃnidhānaṃ kuruṣvātra tīrthe pāpa praṇāśini | sarveṣāmeva tīrthānāṃ maṃtra eṣa udāhṛtaḥ
சரஸ்வதி, சாவித்ரி—வேதமாதா, பிரகாசமயமானவள்—பாபநாசினியே! இத்தீர்த்தத்தில் உங்கள் சன்னிதியை நிறுவுங்கள். இம்மந்திரம் எல்லாத் தீர்த்தங்களுக்கும் உரைக்கப்பட்டது.
