एवं कृत्वा नरो भक्त्या लभते जन्मनः फलम् । तीर्थेषु दानं वक्ष्यामि येषु यद्दीयते तिथौ
evaṃ kṛtvā naro bhaktyā labhate janmanaḥ phalam | tīrtheṣu dānaṃ vakṣyāmi yeṣu yaddīyate tithau
இவ்வாறு பக்தியுடன் செய்தால் மனிதன் பிறப்பின் உண்மைப் பயனை அடைகிறான். இப்போது தீர்த்தங்களில் தான விதியைச் சொல்கிறேன்—எந்த திதியில் எதைத் தானம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று।
