शुनोमुख उवाच । मया हृतानि सर्वेषां बिसानीमानि वै द्विजाः । धर्मं वै श्रोतुकामेन जानीध्वं मां पुरंदरम्
śunomukha uvāca | mayā hṛtāni sarveṣāṃ bisānīmāni vai dvijāḥ | dharmaṃ vai śrotukāmena jānīdhvaṃ māṃ puraṃdaram
சுனோமுகன் கூறினான்—இருபிறப்போரே, உங்களெல்லோருடைய இத்தாமரைக் காம்புகளை நான் எடுத்தேன்; தர்மத்தை கேட்க விரும்பி வந்த என்னை புரந்தரன் (இந்திரன்) என அறியுங்கள்।
