जमदग्निरुवाच । कन्यां यच्छतु वृद्धाय स भूयाद्वृषलीपतिः । अस्तु वार्द्धुषिको नित्यं बिसस्तैन्यं करोति यः
jamadagniruvāca | kanyāṃ yacchatu vṛddhāya sa bhūyādvṛṣalīpatiḥ | astu vārddhuṣiko nityaṃ bisastainyaṃ karoti yaḥ
ஜமதக்னி கூறினார்—யார் பிஸஸ்தைன்யம் செய்கிறாரோ, அவர் கன்னியை முதியவர்க்கு மணம் செய்து கொடுப்பார்; தாழ்ந்த ஒழுக்கமுடைய பெண்ணின் கணவராவார்; என்றும் வட்டிக்கடன் வாழ்வில் நிலைப்பார்.
