ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि तत्रैवोपरिसंस्थितम् । सरस्वत्यास्तटे देवि पर्णादित्यस्य पश्चिमे
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi tatraivoparisaṃsthitam | sarasvatyāstaṭe devi parṇādityasya paścime
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—ஹே மகாதேவி, பின்னர் அங்கேயே மேலே/அருகில் அமைந்துள்ள அந்தப் புனிதத் தலத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்; ஹே தேவி, அது சரஸ்வதியின் கரையில், பர்ணாதித்யத்தின் மேற்கே உள்ளது.
