अग्नौ प्रास्ताहुतिः सम्यगादित्यमुपतिष्ठते । आदित्याज्जायते वृष्टिर्वृष्टेरन्नं ततः प्रजाः
agnau prāstāhutiḥ samyagādityamupatiṣṭhate | ādityājjāyate vṛṣṭirvṛṣṭerannaṃ tataḥ prajāḥ
அக்னியில் முறையாக அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட ஆஹுதி ஆதித்யனை அடைகிறது. ஆதித்யனிடமிருந்து மழை, மழையிலிருந்து அன்னம், அன்னத்திலிருந்து பிரஜைகள் (உயிர்கள்) செழிக்கின்றனர்.
